ALCOAST 206/10 was issued to clarify and amplify existing Uninspected Passenger Vessel (UPV) program guidance. It addresses the Coast Guard's UPV compliance, enforcement, and outreach operations. Auxiliary involvement in the latter aspect is included, and additional amplifying information about the UPV program is expected soon.
