The independent study course on the FEMA site has been updated to 800b, National Response Framework (NFR), An Introduction. The National Incident Management Coordinator stated that IS- 800b is the third version of the training which has been updated to reflect the new NRF. Anyone who has previously taken either earlier version of 800 is compliant and DOES NOT have to take the newest version. It is recommended that those who have taken a previous version read the 4-page "what's new...." NRF document to get an understanding of what has changed from the National Response Plan. Members who have not yet taken an 800 level course may take the 800b course and will be in full compliance. | |
