Are Auxiliarists required to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) in order to go onto port facilities?

No, Auxiliarists are "federal officials" for purpose of entry into these areas without a TWIC as long as they are under orders, have a proper identification (Auxiliarists should not receive orders for this unless they have these credentials) or are escorted, and meet any of the other applicable requirements that are set forth in the Auxiliary Manual and the Auxiliary Operations Manual. For example, they should not be performing law enforcement.
